The FSLA is excited to host a giveback event during the registration period at this year’s FSLA Annual Convention. After thoughtful consideration, we have selected DayStar Life of St. Petersburg as the beneficiary of our 2026 Giveback by putting together hygiene kits for the community. 

FSLA GIVES BACK

Daystar Life to educates and empowers the St. Petersburg community members to fight nutritional insecurity and financial instability by creating opportunities that lead to self-sufficiency. Daystar is driven by the belief that every individual deserves dignity, respect, and a chance at a brighter tomorrow by extending a helping hand to those in need, offering a wide array of services designed to address the immediate challenges and empower individuals on their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Daystar depends on donations from individuals, businesses, churches, and civic associations in the community. In-kind donations of food, household goods, and personal care items from the community allow us to provide the most critical items to the people served there.

Together, we’re aiming to fill 300 Hygiene Kits for those in need. All supplies will be pre-purchased and ready for you to help assemble onsite! We’re asking each attendee to consider donating $15, enough to cover one fully stocked hygiene kit. Learn more about DayStar Life at daystarlife.org.
